Meet ROCKO!! Rocko is currently the featured dog at the Trenton Animal Shelter. Rocko is about 2 years old and he's completely deaf. It appears that he has been deaf since birth since he is very well adjusted to it. He doesn't get startled easily and he has just the sweetest most loveable personality. And he is gorgeous to boot! He seems to really enjoy relaxing but he also has a lot of spunk in him. He's quickly become a favorite with the shelter volunteers and we can't wait to find the right home for this special guy. He will need a family that is willing to learn hand signals and teach them to Rocko. I'm certain he will pick it up quickly, and being the owner of a deaf pup myself, I can tell you that they are just as wonderful and deserving of loving homes as dogs that can hear perfectly fine.
